Overall Objective of the Job:

To supervise and oversee the execution of all electrical works within construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. The role ensures the timely completion of electrical tasks through coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams, while maintaining adherence to project plans and operational objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all on-site electrical installation activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.
• Inspect electrical systems and components for compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve issues related to electrical works, escalating critical concerns when needed.
• Ensure that all electrical work is completed within the defined project schedule and budget.
• Oversee the testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical input as required.
• Provide guidance and support to electrical technicians and subcontractors.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the project manager or engineering lead.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of national and international electrical codes and safety standards.
• Familiarity with project documentation, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Awareness of construction sequencing and integration of electrical systems within the broader scope of building projects.

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong supervisory and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving skills for technical issues on-site.
• Skilled in inspecting, testing, and commissioning electrical systems.

Minimum Qualification:

• Strong written skills for preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
