Job Description :
Key Accountabilities:
Prepare Building Information Modeling (BIM) models and 2D and 3D drawings for a wide range of infrastructure projects involving buildings, and structures.
Responsible for ensuring technical quality, coordination, integrity, and cost effectiveness of drawings produced.
Follow guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.
Interface with other members of the design and management team on multiple discipline projects including with the Global Delivery Centres when required.
Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Company Quality Management System.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
HSE – Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Job Specific Skills:
Competent in the use of industry software Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, PDMS, PDS and MicroStation.
Experienced in the modelling and detailing of buildings, and structures.
Experience of Interior Design.
Preparation of Material Take Offs from REVIT model and drawings.
Experienced in a consulting engineering environment over the whole lifecycle of a project including concept, FEED and Detailed Design.
Education Qualification:
A relevant Diploma in Engineering.
A relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering would be preferable.
